Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST)
Cranial sacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that focuses on the cranial sacral system — the bones of the skull, the cerebral spinal fluid, and the dura mater (membranes) that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
I use a light touch to feel the rhythm of the cranial sacral system and release restrictions and tensions. The goal is to promote the body’s natural healing process, alleviate pain, and improve overall health — restoring the body to a place of comfort.
CST activates the parasympathetic nervous system and calms the sympathetic “fight or flight” response. Receiving CST allows the body to experience the “rest and digest” response, promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and supporting healing. By encouraging this parasympathetic activity, cranial sacral therapy helps the body unwind and restore balance.
Know that you have the wisdom and physical memories to welcome healing. But sometimes we need someone skilled to give our body a nudge and remind us of what wholeness feels like.

Positional Release Therapy (PRT)
Also known as Strain Counterstrain or Structural Relief Therapy, this is a passive technique that corrects muscle, bone, and joint dysfunction by placing your body — or a specific muscle group such as an arm or leg — into a position of comfort.
This position shortens the muscle and reduces strain, helping the body realign itself by re-programming jammed signals traveling between the muscles and the brain.
PRT is often used for treating chronic and acute pain, and can provide immediate relief.

Muscle Energy Technique (MET)
MET is a type of manual therapy used by massage therapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors. It’s a gentle method of manual manipulation used to align the whole skeletal system — the vertebrae of the spine, the pelvis, sacroiliac joints, and ribs.
The goal of Muscle Energy is to restore maximal, pain-free movement of the musculoskeletal system in postural balance. It involves you actively using your muscles on request, while I apply a very light counterforce.
MET helps improve range of motion, reduces muscle tension, aligns the vertebrae of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, and corrects pelvic imbalances. It’s gentle, and can be tailored to each person’s needs.

Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT)
Sacral Occipital Technique involves gently changing the alignment of the pelvis. It’s extremely beneficial in relieving discomfort from sciatica, disc protrusion, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and other types of low back pain.

Visceral Manipulation
Visceral Manipulation is a gentle manual therapy technique that focuses on the organs of the body — like the liver, stomach, and large intestines — to improve organ function.
When one organ doesn’t move in harmony with its companion organs, due to a variety of reasons such as abnormal tone, adhesions, or surgery, it can work against the body’s other organs and structures. With a gentle touch, the viscera can be shifted and vitality improved, removing restrictions so the body can regain greater motility, mobility, and function.

Manual Therapy for Cranial and Spinal Nerves
Did you know that you have twelve cranial nerves, each uniquely specialized and hyper-sensitive, with a profound impact on our cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual state of being? Specific activation, clearing, pacifying, or integration — depending on your needs — can create subtle changes to our entire being.
This process is called Manual Therapy for Cranial and Spinal Nerves. It’s a non-invasive, touch-based modality applied to the nervous networks of the head and whole body, often delivered while you recline in a chair or relax on my table, simply to receive.
It gently helps restore and rebalance the body from physical and emotional traumas, and supports the brain, central nervous system, cerebral spinal fluid, and the dura (membrane) that protects and nourishes the brain.

Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy aids in releasing muscles and the deeply held patterns of tension within them. It also helps remove toxins and encourages the muscles to operate at full capacity.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is the subtle manipulation of the sheet of tissue that covers the muscle, known as fascia. The focus is to release the fascia and restore the body to its normal position.

Ergonomics, Posture & Stretching
Ergonomics, posture, and stretching are important factors in helping people achieve more comfort in their bodies. Unlearning poor postural habits picked up as far back as the teenage years can be life-changing.
Learning how to adapt your work, chores, and play spaces, along with improving posture, can lead to a lifetime of better health. Learning how to properly stretch, and identifying the muscles involved, can help prevent injuries, reduce pain, and contribute significantly to both physical and mental well-being.
